The organization works with long-serving experience in the technical management of the private general aviation aircraft. The incoming EASA rules requiring necessary management technique as implemented by this organization is perceived as completion of years ago intuition with the incoming of the European Regulation (EU) No 2042/2003 (EASA Part M), which entered into force on 28 September 2008.
The primary purpose of CAMO is to allow owners of aircraft to comply with the provisions of Part M in the same MA 201, which establishes the liability of the owner of the aircraft for airworthiness of the same. The same law also provides, as a minimum, the preparation of a Maintenance Program in accordance with the requirements by the Civil Aviation Authority through the issuance of Circular 26 ur NAV
What expressed above is realized in the need for the owner / operator to consult the manufacturers' maintenance manuals of cell makers and parts and their updates and the continuous monitoring of Airworthiness Directives, Airworthiness Directives and bulletins for airframe, engines, accessories and equipment.
The regulation provides that through an agreement of Technical Management can transfer responsibility for continuing airworthiness of its aircraft to a certified organization CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation).
The transfer of responsibility for continuing airworthiness of its aircraft to a CAMO monitoring means leaving everything to do with the machine and its components at the regulatory level and also the timing of the inspection and maintenance of the same. This results in greater safety to the ground as regards the correctness of the documents own aircraft and especially greater safety in flight.
It is the responsibility of the CAMO warns in time of upcoming deadlines related to its own aircraft so to schedule jobs with its own workshop of confidence. Never the less the CAMO will have the option to extend for one year to the Certificate of Continued Airworthiness (ARC) of its aircraft by means of a control and a review of documentation, thus not having to depend on the Civil Aviation Authority.
